Earliest pregnancy
A very curious fact was found in the history of early pregnancies. The age of the youngest mother was 5 years and 7 months. This girl, named Lina, gave birth to 6S-pound boy with the help of cesarean operation. First time doctors thought that this child was the girl’s brother but when he was 10 they discovered that he is her son. Everything happened in Lima , Peru . It should be also mentioned that Lina started menstruating when she was 3 years old.

There is only one explanation of this unusual occasion: Lina suffered from premature puberty or hormonal imbalance. But sometimes it occurs within the process of ovarian and uterine development.

12-years-old father
According to some medical newspaper the youngest father was 12-years-old boy, Sean Stewart. It happened on January 20, 1998 , in Sharnbrook , England . The teenage girl gave birth to a healthy 6 lb . boy. His father was at the bedsite of his girlfriend at the moment of birth. At the first time girl’s parents were shocked because they thought that the age of this young man was 14. Also, after this unbeleivable occasion Sean promised to be always near his son and future wife who planned to study till the end and educate her son with the help of her parents.

63 year Mother
In 1996 occurred one medical sensation. In some Medical Cemter an old woman (63 years, 9 months) gave birth to a healthy girl. This occasion was unique and had no analogues. When this woman was asked what she had said to get the treatment in the hospital, she confessed that in medical card her age was 50. But doctors always warn that pregnancy in such old age is too risky for life. Think over everything before you decide to have a baby after 45.

93 year Father
The oldest father in the world was mine worker from western Victoria . When in July 1992 was born his son the age of this man was 93 years and 10 months. It was surprise to hear from him that it was not so big difficulty to become father in such old age. He was astonished that his wife could get pregnant. Such amazing self-assurance! It would be interesting to know that this man lived up to his 100 th birthday.
